ASTRA Film Festival

If you’re around the corner or wishing a city break this weekend I have some good news. In 14th October started ASTRA Film Festival and it’s going to take place until 20 of October.
ASTRA Film Festival Sibiu is an important event in the romanian film community. It is located in the Transylvanian city of Sibiu and it is unique in this part of Europe. In every editions the festival proposes a very wide, panoramic overview that extends both geographically on large territories and over time, going back to the past and coming back to the present. The festival programme is unique and diverse dominated by films that train and sharpen the mind of the viewers and offer them new perspectives on the world, an intimate account of the human condition in the form of powerful cinematic stories: social movements, justice, national identity and very important the desire for a better future. This type of festival will literally make the historical center of Sibiu and many other areas come to life.
